Unlike large box retailers, or service stations, we fill your containers to the maximum. This ensures you’ll get 20% (4 pounds) more gas.

As a family owned and operated business we understand what a hassle it can be to run out of propane. Most people don’t have the time to hunt down an affiliate tank exchange. Worse yet, when you get your new tank home from a hardware store or gas station rack, it tends to have an underwhelming amount of propane in it for the size of the actual tank.

We also make sure to fill the tanks to the maximum capacity which isn’t always the case with the tank exchanges you get at gas stations and big box hardware stores. This way you get 20% more propane in the tanks you receive from us.

We require 48 hour advance notice to assign one of our cleaning techs to your home or business. Please choose a date in advance to give us enough time. If you do require urgent next day service, give as a call at (833) I-GOT-GAS / (833) 446-8427 so we can try our best to allocate a team member to you. If we have scheduling conflicts, we'll do our best to accommodate the next time most convenient for you.

Important Surcharge Notice: 

A $50 fee will be applied for grills that are excessively neglected, which can be assessed prior to cleaning. This includes grills with excessive grease buildup, wildlife nests, or evidence of a grease fire extinguished with a fire extinguisher. (If you can’t remember the year you purchased the grill or the last time it was cleaned, chances are this applies to you.)

Long Island Backyard BBQ also offers a wide range of services and repairs. This includes things like seasonal preparation and storage, as well as grill repairs and tune ups to make sure that your grill and other propane devices are running smoothly and safely. We have experience with all types and major brands of gas grill.

Minor repair examples

Most repairs on stand alone grills like weber, charbroil grills. New hoses and ignitors. But almost any repairs on a basic grill. Labor only. Call first to determine exact problem so no surprises.

Major repairs for specialty grills

Lynx, DCS or Viking etc. There can be minor repairs on these grills.  Call for quote if not sure.  Labor only. Call first to determine exact problem so no surprises.
